Welcome to my little corner of the world...
News and Reviews...
Hey there! Thanks for checking out my page!
If you've read my debut YA and are wondering if there will be a sequel... the answer is YES! For a quick tease from the second book, click over to my "Books" page. More info as it becomes available ~ including cover reveals and release date, but it's looking like May 2014 will be the time to celebrate...
AND... if you're wondering when I'll have a new romance for you to read... you're in luck! I've just signed a contract with The Wild Rose Press to publish MY KIND OF CRAZY, a contemporary small-town romance, set on Cape Cod. The blurb reads:
Kendall Roarke is betting everything on turning her Harwich Port B&B into the premier wedding destination on Cape Cod, despite her own recent (and messy) divorce.
Jonathan Reynolds moved back East to take over his uncle's business and start fresh after his own marriage ended. He's not looking for anything complicated - until he meets Kendall, with her wild mop of curls and big plans for the future.
Throw an uptight new neighbor and an unruly Saint Bernard puppy named Midget into the mix and things get a little crazy. Now Kendall has to decide if it's the kind of crazy that she can live with...for the rest of her life.

JUNE 15, 2013: We had a blast at the MERMAID EXTRAVAGANZA at BEACH COTTAGE LIVING, in Harwich Port! Thanks to all the friends, neighbors, locals and tourists who helped make the day a success! We enjoyed yummy sea-blue cupcakes and delicious chocolate mermaid pops from Beach Way Sweet Shop - as well as a beautiful day for an event! Can't wait to visit Erika Nickerson and her shop again this summer!
JUNE 20, 2013: What an awesome night it was at THE LITTLE BEACH GALLERY in Hyannis Port! Jen Villa was a gracious hostess, keeping the Cape Cod Beer, sangria, and champagne flowing! CapeWomenOnline magazine was the cosponsor, celebrating another successful summer issue, with Publisher Nicola Burnell and many contributing writers stopping by for a drink and a chat. Make sure to stop by Jen's gallery next time you're in downtown Hyannis!
JUNE 30, 2013: Son of a Mermaid was featured in the "Summer Book Bonanza" feature by Melanie Lauwers, in THE SUNDAY CAPE COD TIMES.
JULY 6, 2013: The annual 4th of July Harwich Craft Show
at Brooks Park was a steamy affair this year, but several local authors braved the heat under the tents to greet visitors, network amongst ourselves... and sell books!
JULY 29 and AUGUST 5, 2013: I visited Provincetown's Whydah Pirate Museum to
chat about my book and mermaids, and sign copies for some wonderful museum visitors! I had so much fun both days, chatting with people from all over the United States about Cape Cod, writing and - of course - whether mermaids are real.
